A Resolution Urging the Washington State Legislature to Address K-12 Funding
As you probably know, the Washington State Supreme Court determined that the State is not upholding its responsibility to fully fund education (AKA the "McCleary Decision"). April is THE month to let our Legislators know that we are holding them accountable. The attached resolution is part of larger effort to ensure that basic education is the highest priority for lawmakers this session. It was written by the Washington School Administrators Association, and has since passed many PTA and School Boards, including Seattle School Board. We hope you will join this effort.
