LEGISLATIVE CHAIR NEEDED:
Want to learn more about state education and funding policies, and then help inform your school community? This is a great volunteer position for busy parents who can't be at school but want to make a difference at the state and local levels. You can start small with emails to your members about ballot measures, events like PTA Focus Day in Olympia and education bills in Olympia. All the info will be sent to you via email.

Attend the WA State Legislative Assembly meeting in October to learn more about being a legislative chair.  No experience is needed -- just an hour or so a week will make a big difference to the kids in Seattle Public Schools.
